The G-12 is a 64-foot cargo parachute designed for medium-capacity applications, compatible with the A-22 aerial delivery cargo bag and various platform rigged loads. It was primarily developed to decelerate and stabilize bulk-type platform air delivery cargo.
The G-12 can be used individually or in clusters of two or more, depending on the weight of the load, and can be deployed from altitudes as low as 475 to 550 feet AGL.
In its standard configuration, the G-12 supports payloads up to 2,200 lbs, and when deployed in a two-parachute cluster, it can handle up to 3,500 lbs.
